Oatley West Public School prides itself in being able to develop and implement quality teaching and learning programs. Our students are encouraged to participate in and enjoy a variety of academic, musical, sporting and creative activities on offer throughout the year. Such activities include our K-6 Lifeskills Program, Peer Support Program,  Musical Bands, Percussion Power Groups, Recorder Groups, Choir Groups, PSSA Sporting Teams, Swimming, Cross Country and Athletics Carnivals, Chess Club, Talent Quest, Years 5 and 6 Camp and the Student Representative Council. During the year, students will also be provided with opportunities to experience excursions, incursions and visiting performances.
